The Battle Belongs to the Lord
Ruth Conlon · 23 August 2026 · Chronicles 20:1–17
The Battle Belongs to the Lord. What happens when you’ve prayed, stood firm, and tried to be strong—but you’ve reached the end of yourself? In Week 6 of the Fight the Good Fight series, we turn to 2 Chronicles 20:1–17 and the story of King Jehoshaphat, who faced an overwhelming enemy with no power, no strategy, and no idea what to do. This message speaks directly to seasons of grief, loss, pain, and helplessness, reminding us that fear does not disqualify us from God’s help. Like Jehoshaphat, we can bring our raw and honest fears before God and declare: “We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on You.” Discover what it means to surrender the illusion of control, trust God in the middle of the battle, and praise Him before the outcome is clear. You may not have the strength to fight the battle—but the battle belongs to the Lord. 🎧 Listen now and be encouraged to keep your eyes on God, stand firm in faith, and trust Him to carry you through. More Than Conquerors
Ian Moore · 16 August 2026 · Rom. 8:31–39
More Than Conquerors. What does it mean to be more than a conqueror when life is filled with battles, uncertainty, and challenges? In Week 5 of our Fight the Good Fight series, we turn to Romans 8:31–39 and discover the unshakable confidence we have in Christ. This message reminds us that our victory is not found in having a trouble-free life, but in knowing that God is for us, God is working through every season, and nothing can separate us from His love. We explore God’s purpose for our lives, the transforming work He is doing within us, and the assurance that no condemnation, hardship, or opposition can overcome what God has established in Christ. When the road is difficult, stand firm. When you cannot understand what God is doing, trust His purpose. When the battle feels overwhelming, remember His love. Because through Christ, we are not simply survivors of the fight—we are more than conquerors. ❤️🔥 📖 Scripture: Romans 8:31–39 🎙️ Series: Fight the Good Fight 🔥 Week 5: More Than Conquerors “In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” — Romans 8:37

The Battle For Your Mind
Ruth Conlon · 2 August 2026 · 2 Corinthians 10:3–5
THE BATTLE FOR YOUR MIND Winning the War Within Scripture: 2 Corinthians 10:3–5 Every battle begins somewhere—and according to Scripture, the greatest battlefield is often the mind. In this powerful message from 2 Corinthians 10:3–5, we discover that while we live in the natural world, the battles we face are deeply spiritual. The enemy's strategy is not simply to attack our circumstances but to influence our thinking. He whispers lies, plants doubts, and seeks to build strongholds that keep us from experiencing the freedom and victory Christ has already won for us. This sermon explores four biblical pillars that reveal how God equips us to win the war within: The Assault – Understanding where the battle begins. Learn to recognise the enemy's tactics and why your mind is his primary target. The Agreement – Every stronghold begins with a lie believed as truth. Discover how wrong agreements shape our thinking and why identifying those lies is the first step toward freedom. The Arrest – Scripture calls us to "take every thought captive to make it obedient to Christ." Not every thought deserves agreement. Learn how to examine your thoughts through the lens of God's Word and bring them under Christ's authority. The Alignment – Lasting transformation happens when our minds are renewed and aligned with the mind of Christ. As truth replaces deception, we begin to think, live, and respond in ways that reflect Jesus. You'll also discover the spiritual weapons God has provided for every believer. His Word is our truth, faith is our shield, prayer keeps us connected to Him, the blood of Jesus secures our victory, and the Holy Spirit empowers us to stand firm. These are not worldly weapons—they are mighty through God for demolishing strongholds. Drawing inspiration from the life of Desmond Doss, this message reminds us that courage begins with conviction. He refused to surrender to fear, chose obedience over compromise, and demonstrated that one life fully surrendered to God can make an eternal difference. As you listen, reflect on these questions: What thoughts have I accepted that don't agree with God's truth?Am I allowing fear, doubt, or insecurity to shape my thinking? Are my daily thoughts leading me closer to Christ or further from Him?What practical step can I take today to align my mind with God's Word? May this message encourage you to reject every lie, demolish every stronghold, and walk in the freedom that comes from a mind renewed by Christ. The battle may begin in your mind, but through Jesus, victory is already available. "For though we live in the flesh, we do not wage war according to the flesh... We take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ." — 2 Corinthians 10:3–5

Fight the Good Fight (Part One)
Ruth Conlon · 19 July 2026 · 1 Timothy 6:11–16
The Christian life is not a passive journey—it is a spiritual battle that calls for courage, endurance, and unwavering faith. But before we can fight well, we must first become the kind of people God has called us to be. In this powerful opening message of the Fight the Good Fight series, we discover that victory is shaped not by our abilities, but by our character. Writing near the end of his ministry, the Apostle Paul urges Timothy to "fight the good fight of the faith." His focus isn't on strategies for success or ministry achievements. Instead, he points Timothy to the qualities that define a true person of God—someone whose life is anchored in Christ and whose faith remains steadfast in every season. This message explores four essential pillars that shape a faithful Christian life: The Compass reminds us that before we fight, we must know where we're headed. We are called to flee from pride, compromise, greed, and every distraction that pulls us away from Christ, while intentionally pursuing righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness. The Comfort teaches us that our greatest strength comes from God's presence, not our own ability. Through humility, steadfastness, dependence on God, and His perfect peace, we learn to stand firm even when life is uncertain and the battle is difficult. The Crown lifts our eyes beyond temporary struggles to eternal realities. By fixing our attention on God's Word, keeping our eyes on Jesus, and living with eternity in view, we gain the perspective needed to remain faithful until the end. This sermon is a timely reminder that every believer is called to fight—not with fear or self-reliance, but with a life shaped by Christ. The battles we face are real, but God has not left us unequipped. As our character is formed by His Spirit, we become people who can stand firm, persevere through trials, and faithfully represent Him in a world that constantly pulls us in the opposite direction.

Still Standing
Ruth Conlon · 26 July 2026 · Ephesians 6:10–18

Defining Worship
Suzanne Humphreys · 12 July 2026 · 1 Corinthians 10:31
What does true worship really look like? For many of us, worship begins and ends with a Sunday service, a few songs, a prayer, or time spent in church. But the Bible paints a much bigger picture. Worship is not an event or a weekly activity; it is a way of life. It is the daily choice to honour God with our hearts, our words, our work, our relationships, and everything He has entrusted to us. In this message, we explore what it means to live a life of worship beyond the church walls. Whether you're working, studying, parenting, creating, serving, or resting, every moment becomes an opportunity to glorify God. Worship isn't confined to a building; it continues wherever God has placed you. We'll also discover that God has uniquely gifted every believer. Your talents, career, creativity, generosity, and acts of service can all become expressions of worship when offered back to Him with a willing heart. As Eric Liddell famously said, "When I run, I feel His pleasure." God delights when we use His gifts for His glory. Finally, we'll see the transforming power of a life devoted to worship. As we consistently honour God in our everyday lives, He shapes our character to become more like Christ. Worship changes the worshipper before it changes the circumstances. May this message encourage you to move beyond simply attending worship and begin living as a true worshipper—bringing glory to God in every conversation, every decision, and every ordinary moment. "So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God." — 1 Corinthians 10:31

Keeping Step: Moving From Doctrine to Lifestyle
Ian More · 5 July 2026 · Galatians 5:25
What does it really mean to live the Christian life? Many of us think it's about trying harder, doing more, or relying on our own strength to become more like Christ. But Scripture points us to something far greater. The Christian life is not sustained by human effort; the presence and power of the Holy Spirit transform it. In this message, we explore what it means to keep in step with the Spirit (Galatians 5:25). Rather than treating the Holy Spirit as a general theological idea, we're invited to know Him as our daily Guide, Helper, and Companion. He leads us in every decision, shapes our character, convicts us with love, and produces the fruit of Christ within us as we surrender to His leading. From the ordinary moments of everyday life to life's biggest decisions, every step is an opportunity to walk in obedience, trust, and dependence on God. As we follow the Spirit, our lives begin to reflect the love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control that only He can produce. May this message encourage you to move beyond merely knowing about the Holy Spirit and into the daily adventure of walking with Him—one faithful step at a time. "Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit." — Galatians 5:25

Meeting With God in Worship.
David Conlon · 28 June 2026 · Psalm 95
Meeting with God in Worship | A Reflection on Psalm 95 What does it truly mean to meet with God in worship? In this reflection on Psalm 95, we discover that worship is far more than singing songs—it is the posture of a heart that recognizes who God is. Together, we'll explore God's invitation to come before Him with thanksgiving, joyful praise, and humble surrender, remembering that He alone is worthy of our worship. Before we bring our requests, our burdens, or our plans, God simply invites us into His presence. Be encouraged to draw near, listen for His voice, soften your heart, and remember that He is your Shepherd and your King. "For He is our God, and we are the people of His pasture, the flock under His care. Today, if only you would hear His voice, do not harden your hearts." — Psalm 95:7–8.

Our Father
Ruth Conlon · 21 June 2026 · Matthew 6:9-13
Our Father. Not a distant God. Not an absent creator. Not a reluctant king. He is Father. The One who sees you, provides for you, guides you, protects you, forgives you, and welcomes you into His presence. When Jesus taught us to pray, He began with relationship before requests: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name.” This week, take time to reflect on who God is. Not just what He can do for you, but His character, His heart, and His love for His children. Listen, reflect, and draw near to the Father who already knows your name.

Priceless
Ruth Conlon · 14 June 2026 · Luke 15
What is a soul worth? In a world that often measures people by their success, status, appearance, background, or mistakes, Jesus tells three remarkable stories about a lost sheep, a lost coin, and a lost son. Each story reveals a profound truth: our value is not determined by our circumstances, our failures, or what others think of us. Our value is determined by the God who created us, loves us, and seeks us. In this final message of the Breaking Down Walls series, we explore how God’s relentless pursuit of the lost reveals the worth He places on every person. Through Luke 15 and Ephesians 2, we discover that Christ breaks down the walls of prejudice, rejection, and exclusion, bringing near those who were once far away. Whether you feel forgotten, overlooked, broken, or far from God, this message is a reminder that in His eyes you are deeply loved, highly valued, and truly priceless.

Love without Distinction
Ruth Conlon · 7 June 2026 · James 2
Love Without Distinction James 2 In James 2, we are challenged to examine whether our faith truly reflects the heart of God. James confronts the sin of favouritism and reminds us that genuine faith does not judge people based on appearance, wealth, status, ethnicity, background, or personal preference. God shows no partiality, and neither should His people. The church is called to live by the Royal Law: “Love your neighbour as yourself.” This love extends beyond those who are like us, agree with us, or fit comfortably within our social circles. Kingdom love sees people through the eyes of Christ and welcomes them with dignity, honour, and compassion. James goes on to remind us that faith is more than what we believe—it is demonstrated by how we live. A faith that ignores the needs of others, withholds compassion, or fails to act is a faith that has lost its vitality. True faith expresses itself through practical love, mercy, and obedience. The chapter concludes with powerful examples of Abraham and Rahab, showing that genuine faith always produces action. Saving faith is not merely intellectual agreement; it transforms the heart and shapes the way we treat others. As followers of Jesus, we are called to reject prejudice, favouritism, and partiality in every form. We are called to be a people whose love reflects the impartial love of God—a love without distinction, limits, or barriers. For when faith is alive, mercy triumphs over judgement, and the love of Christ is made visible through His people.

Love Beyond Boundaries
Ruth Conlon · 31 May 2026 · Luke 10:25-37
Love Without Boundaries | Luke 10:25–37 In the parable of the Good Samaritan, Jesus challenges our assumptions about who deserves our love. This message explores how God’s love crosses every barrier and calls us to show mercy, compassion, and grace to all people. Discover what it means to love beyond prejudice, fear, and division, and to reflect the heart of Christ in a broken world.

Jesus Is For Everyone - Invisible Barriers
Ruth Conlon · 24 May 2026 · Acts 10:1–16
Breaking Down Walls: Jesus for Everybody explores the invisible barriers we create within society and even within the Church. Through honest reflection and personal storytelling, this message challenges the ways we divide people by status, background, race, ability, or belonging. While the world constantly draws lines between insiders and outsiders, Jesus continually breaks those walls down. This sermon reminds us that the Gospel is radically inclusive — Christ’s love reaches beyond human categories and invites all people into His grace. Ultimately, it is a call for the Church to reflect the heart of Jesus: open, welcoming, and available to everybody. Memory Line: Jesus breaks down every wall — His grace is for everybody.
